A genuinely nice place to spend time
I often go on about business forums, and how they’re a great source of business. So in April, when we finalized our plans to return to the UK, I started scouting around for a UK based business forum. A quick Google search led me to the A1 Business Forums, and I’m glad it did.
A1 is a genuinely nice place to spend time. To date I’ve posted 39 times. I haven’t found any business on the forum yet, because I haven’t tried (yet). There’s a certain amount of pleasure to be gained just by having a conversation with someone without trying to sell them anything.
Forget Facebook. If you’re in business, you’ll find like-minded people on A1. I’ll see you there.

Agree with you entirely Dave, A1 is a great place to bounce ideas, get genuine feedback and just a really friendly forum to hang out in.
I agree Dave. One of the more active business forums.
I would draw a comparison with Facebook however, because social networking sites like that are different - they are a profile, which has a passive role in promoting your business, unlike a forum where you have to take part.
We are hoping to establish WeCanDo.BIZ as the social networking choice for small and medium sized businesses, so I hope you come and check us out, as I’de love to read your assessment on your blog!

@Victoria: Thanks. I’ll see you there.
@Ian. I’ll set up an account over the weekend and take WeCanDo for a test-drive.
